History and Purpose
MK College Link was established and incorporated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, December 29, 2000. The Articles of Incorporation describe its purpose as follows: “The purpose of the Corporation is to promote and support the Meserete Kristos Church of Ethiopia, Meserete Kristos College, and the seminaries, colleges, schools, and other charitable purposes and undertakings of Meserete Kristos Church.
In 2026 MK College Link filed the required documents for doing business as (DBA) MK Seminary Link. This name change aligns our name with Meserete Kristos Seminary, who changed their name from a college to a seminary.
Our Operations
MK Seminary Link receives donations from people who want to support the work of Meserete Kristos Church and Seminary in Ethiopia. MK Seminary Link holds funds in a U.S. bank account and remits them to Ethiopia as requested by the Church or the Seminary. MK Seminary Link also maintains an endowment fund that is invested in order to provide a long-term source of income for the Seminary.
